Noise
I have a 2010 RT SM-5.
Recently I noted a noise in the front of the Spyder immediately after starting it. At first I thought something was wrong with the fan. Now I am convinced that a compressor of some type is making the noise. It does not last long. I do not hear it after I start riding the Spyder.
Any thoughts????

It is probably the compressor for the shocks. I can't say that I hear mine right after starting it but you will hear it quite a bit at low speeds. If you get a group of RTs together you will hear a chorus of compressors that is if they aren't drowned out by squealing brake pads.

Mine does the same thing and has since I have owned it and on mine it is not for the shocks. It does come from the front but I just ignore it. I think it is normal, only lasts for a couple of seconds or so.
