    Default Riding in the rain...

We have a 2010 RT and got caught in the rain all day today and I was wondering does anybody make a windshield wiper for this yet??

I put a good water repellant on the windshield. Today was the first time I've been caught in the rain (since we've only had 1/2 in since Feb!). I ran the windshield all the way up. The only problem is that the windshield in the up position is to upright for the wind to push the rain off. No wonder the gas mileage is so bad!
Windshield wipers don't do well on non-glass windshields. Scratches too easily.

I think Scotty mentioned that Rain-X doesn't do good things to plastic windshields...

Rain X eats plastic windshields, look for a rain/water repellant specifically designed for plastic or fiberglass. sometimes boat dealers carry such things
I also think Lamont recommended a specific product in a much earlier thread. -still looking for it..

    Hi

Maybe you could wax it , when i wax the bike , i wax all the Tupperware and the windshield. But i don't remember how it look like when it rain.

I use Meguairs products I use Meguairs Ultimate Quick Detailer it as hydrophobe formula with a good microfiber.

I like and use Meguairs only for many years on all my toys.

    Have good summer.

Yesterday was the first time I ever rode in the rain. I am a fair weather rider mostly. It poured for about 10 minutes and I was soaked, but it was fun. It's only water. The wind and water was so strong that a windshield wiper wouldn't have worked anyway.
