    Default Performance differance between the RT and the RS

    Just a little tech info!
    RT Multi-point EFI system with 2 in. (51 mm) throttle body Power 100 hp (71 kW @ 7500 RPM)Torque 80 lb.-ft. (104 Nm @ 5000 RPM)

    RS Multi-point EFI system with 2.24 in. (57 mm) throttle body Power 106 hp (79 kW @ 8500 RPM)Torque 77 lb.-ft. (104.3 Nm @ 6250 RPM)

    Makes looking into putting a RS 57 mm throttle body on RT something to look into if cam & valves are same and no other major changes would need to be made
    Not much bolt on mod's out there that would give you 6 hp. I have put a larger throttle body on my H3 Hummer Alpha 5.3L with SuperChips Mapping
    and performance was greatly improved..

    This was already shown to be a typographical error. Both throttle bodies are the same size (51 mm).

    If that is the case then all the magazines and BRP website have it wrong. Im thinking not unless it can be proven wrong. Not to mention the manuals. The mapping is also different between the two.

    Just to clearfy here are the part numbers and prices.

    RTS SE5 throttlebody- No. 420296974 $ 820.99

    RS SE5 throttlebody- No. 420685223 $ 1,779.49

    Wow the price difference is alot to say the least.
