Hindle Hindle Hindle...
And others here like the HMF, but I haven't tried that one myself...
However, the Hindle is a great pipe and is made for our bike...throaty but it's not too loud compared to others...while on a large group ride last year, the guy behind me said the bike sounded like a Ferrari...that's just fine by me!

I had a Micron, it was junk and that's probably why they stopped making them I run with two brothers exhaust on both our Spyders. I would also advise you to get the Juice Box also no mater what after market pipe you go with.

Has anyone bought anything from these guys? I'm looking at the TB exhaust and it seems like a really good price.

I hated the stock pipe - it makes your 1L power plant sound like a sewing machine. I tried the HMF, and liked the tone, but found it too loud for my taste. I have the 2Bros single can now with the core silencer. While it is a tad better than the HMF, I still find it way too loud. I like to accelerate fast, even if I don't exceed the speed limit (by much), but I don't want to disturb a whole neighborhood doing so. Plus, I'd like to be able to ride without feeling the need for earplugs.
Thus, I'm thinking of trying the Hindle. Any other recommendations for a sweet sound without being deafening? Has anyone tried the Street Magic?

The Spyder is very hard on exhaust systems. It's not going to treat a light weight, poorly built aftermarket exhaust like the Micron kindly.
Though the Micron looks good, sounds great and actually works pretty well on many bikes, it will turn colors, blow out and then blow up when used on a Spyder. Been there, done that.
One of the benefits of a forum like this is that you can learn from others pain and avoid the experience.
I've had 4 different pipes on my Spyder. I love the Yoshimura I'm running now, but there are other good choices like the HMF and the Hindle (though I've never understood the attaction to the Hindle myself) that work well and can stand up to the punishment our lovely Spyders dish out.

The Hindle is a pretty loud pipe. Maybe a bit quieter than the HMF but IMHO not enough to make a difference.
One reason I really like my Yoshimura is that it's pretty quiet with normal throttle application (not sewing machine quite though). But when you get on it, it sounds pretty mean (to me anyway and I've had others comment in the same opinion).
It seems to give me a HP boost but that is hard to prove without a Dyno (which I have not done).
Crusing at freeway speeds the sound is pleasant, and it does not drone (which I hate). It only gets loud when you want it to. I've got about 14,000 miles on it and it's in like new condition externally. It sounds like the packing is still there but I'd have to open it up to see for sure. Which I will do one of these days.
I don't know if this one will ever go bad but if it did right now I'd get another one.

I know it's an RT you see, but I'm working on a RS version as well.
Muffler is the same diameter just longer.
Sound is about the same
