    Default Bump for Scotty

I vowed not to make unnecessary posts, but when I saw that Scotty was at 8,995, all we need is a couple of good questions and we can get him to 9,000 before the day is done.

A ok simple enough ........just a couple of good questions....................hmmm lets see. Scotty how many days before Spyderfest is it necessary to pack everything up?

And another, Is it ok to wear a different color jean than blue when ryding the spyder?

Scotty, How many miles you have on your Viper now?

None for me, since I won't be there. I'll start the checklist for our rally Monday, though...four days ahead.

With my overpants, nothing clashes. BTW, does anyone else remember Mr. Greenjeans from Captain Kangaroo?

I crossed the 800 mile mark today. Sorry to be lagging behind, but it has been cold and wet.

This was post #9,000.....a dubious honor.

You're making me feel old. Doesn't ANYONE else remember Mr. Greenjeans?
By the way, Scotty, you undoubtedly have as much or more valuable content per post as anyone on this site. Your posts are always worth reading. (Except for this last one! )

Scotty, do you remember the words to the Howdy Doody song?

    I'll start.

    What time is it?

It's Howdy Doody time, it's Howdy Doody time... that's about all I remember.

There were way too many bootleg versions of that song for me to venture a guess. This is a family channel.

Captain Kangaroo was a war vet (Bob Kiernan i think was his name) and had several medals. i cannot remember the name now, but an old school famous actor served under him and told a few stories about him sometime in the mid 90's i believe.

and yes,i too remember Mr. Green Jeans...and the episode where they invented the "burple" color

Wasn't there a dancing bear in there somewhere too? Or maybe that was just a bad nightmare.
