Thanks,

You can purchase either of the BRP extended coverages BEFORE the original warranty coverage expires.
You can expect to pay $800-$1000 for the three-year BEST coverage if you shop around. IMHO, it is well worth it as repairs on these computers-on-wheels can be expensive.
There is at least one dealer who is a site sponsor here who will sell you the coverage at a discount.

Florida doesn't sell new BRP Best since March 2010.

You might try Louis Powersports in Greenville, TX. I bought my 3 yr Best from them at a very favorable price. It helped that I purchased before either 60 or 90 days elapsed from purchase of Spyder.

Thanks to all for the feedback. I'll give them a call and see what's up.

So can I buy it in say Alabama and it be honored in Florida? If not, what are my Florida options? Anyone know who and where the closest Alabama dealer is to Pensacola, Florida?

I don't know why you can't buy it anywhere and use it anywhere unless it is not honored in FL????? All Can Am dealers must honor, regardless of where purchased. You can buy it over the phone!

You can buy in any other state and use it in Fl.
IMHO do not use Pinnacle or any other aftermarket warranties...check with your dealer for answers "why".

Thanks for the "Florida" info docdoru. Are we still considered a part of the Union.

At least until tax time is over.

Even when they did sell the 'BRP BEST' warranty in Florida it legally had to be underwritten by another insurance company -- some goofy Florida law.
As Doc stated-- do NOT go with a 3rd party warranty-- plenty of people have been scammed when that company went under or wouldn't cover things.
Stick with the BRP BEST warranty.
Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!
