where do you mount your inspection stickers for RTs?
where are you guys having your motorcycle inspection stickers mounted on your RTs?
mine was mounted on the shock body... now with the nice looking WP shocks was wondering if there is an alternate location to stick the inspection sticker?

You've lived a very sheltered life my son. Most have an attachment plate that bolts on the license plate, you attach the sticker to that. Check with your local M/C shop they will have what you want.

Thank God Flarda got rid of motor vehicle inspections years ago. They were about as worthless as "T's on a boar hog".

Regardles of your "teats" and how Florida treats them, the sticker is on the left lower A-Arm... New York State is just a bit finicky about making sure that our lights, brakes, exhaust and horns all work well...

wow a lot of responses ... Rider Steve best response...
I have never seen an attachment plate to licence plate for inspections. on the harley I have a metal plate that attached to the swing arm on the left side but never seen one that attaches to the license plate.... hmmm
OK just did a google search for PA... sorry Steve no can do here:
Title 67 Section 175.41(e)
(2) On a motorcycle or a motor-driven cycle, the certificate of inspection shall be affixed in a clearly visible, upright position to one of the following areas of the vehicle:
(i) On the left side—traffic side—of the front fork.
(ii) On the left side—traffic side—of the front fender.
(iii) On a plate attached by weld or rivets to the left side—traffic side—of the vehicle for purposes of mounting the certificate of inspection.

That license plate option doesn't work in PA so will have the next one installed on the A-Arm instead of on my shiny Works Performance Shocks

They don't actually allow us to put them on a plate that can be unbolted from the bike... They figure tht we'll swap back and forth from one bike to the next to avoid the inspecton fee... In Pa., they mention making sure that the plate is pretty darn permanent too.. (Welded or riveted)

Actually I liked some of the other responses best. Inspection stickers are a ripoff at best, just another way for state jerkoffs to get into your pocketbook.

It's just that while Florida figures that a responsible will do just as you do, up here in New York they just figure that we'll all ride around on baling wire and twine that's just waitng to implode and hurt somebody... unless they make sure that we do the sensible thing that is...

We pretty much take care of ourselves here w/o any state supervision!

Michigan...no inspections, no stickers, no toll roads. We won't mention the potholes and the snow, though.

As RiderSteve said, in Texas they usually go on a plate under the license tag. I have a really nice, chrome plate that I'll install next April when it's inspected again. I agree with most that inspection stickers are just a rip-off by the state. I wouldn't complain that much if they were spending the money on roads but evidently they are not. Texas roads, which were once some of the best in the nation, have become some of the worst. If something isn't done soon, we may have to go back to traveling horeback.

We don't have that option in Allen, TX. May have to move to your area.
