We all love America!
This morning, members of the Patriot Guard, the Warriors Watch of Northern California, as well as two members of Spyder Ryders of East Contra Costa County (CA) participated in this event to escort this young patriot to school this morning following a controversy that was heard about nationwide regarding the displaying of the American flag on his bicycle.
Thank you to all who participated!

I wish we could have been there too... had to work. We just had gotten back from vacation when we found out about it yesterday from our friends.
I remember we had to say the Pledge every morning before school... by the time I was in middle school that had all but went away. So sad.

Very cool but will the ones who run the school learn from this or end up with a big fat F?

Thanks for posting that second video.

Way to support Cody you all!! And better yet the underlying premise of Americanism that lives within Cody. What a great example to his generation.

I don't think what happened to Cody would ever happen here in western Arizona, but if it did , there would be the same response from the PGR, ALR, and all of rest of the riders out here. We have many groups who would probably have escorted the principal to school, if he wanted it or not, so he could watch the support for Cody.

Unbelievable but I am glad Cody won! I hope the other students get a big fat F. Bunch of idiots who probably have idiots for parents, Oh I gotta calm down, this is making my blood boil and I'll get yelled at if I write anything else on that note... but I am glad Cody won!

As noted in the Fox link someone posted-- the initial problem that caused the 'flag ban' was students waving Mexican flags during Cinco De Mayo. This caused an uproar and the school decided to ban all such displays in fear of fights breaking out. Had they just banned Mexican flags they would have been sued I'm sure.
No easy answer, but they obviously picked the wrong answer.
Not agreeing with the ban at all, just important to realize how it got started.
Glad the school came to their senses and this young man was able to show his American pride on his way to school.

I think everyone should be allowed to express themselves anyway that they want, and especially be allowed to fly the American flag in AMERICA of all places. Yay for Cody!!

Even 1 day for celebrating Cinco De Mayo or St. Paddy's day (my fav) should be okay!

I'm not sure how schools are now a days, I don't have any children, but I remember the raising of the flag in the school yard and then every classroom and even the cafeteria had an American flag. Pledge of allegiance was said every morning.
I bet most of these kids who harassed Cody have never even been to mexico! Bet if they did go down there and saw some decapitated bodies laying around they'd have more respect for our flag and country!

Unfortunately - not so. Suits have been filed and won where "you can't make me say pledge"

Correct-- the first of which was in 1943--- 11 years before they added 'under God' to the pledge (which was in 1954).
