Earthquake today...
Felt that today around 1:45 local time (Gatineau, Quebec, Canada).
Not a pleasant feeling - it was a 5.7. Just a few dishes out of place.
Spyder is fine though
Anyone else feel it?

Glad everything is all right there. We get quakes all the time here in Alaska--anything over a 4.0 usually gets our attention. The 5.7 would have been a noticable ride.

Due to the shaking the alarm on my husband's HD kicked in momentarily (cry baby!) but Lil Pumpkin was a brave little girl - no whining from her

Yup we felt it here in Brampton (Toronto area), Ontario. Lasted about 30 seconds, i thought it was pretty cool. No damage, from what I heard, around here

They say we felt it here in CT . I had no idea. I was at a conference. Got home, turned on the news and there it was.
Glad it was only dishes out of place where you are!

You shoulda been around for the 7.2 east of San Diego on Easter Sunday, and the plethora of aftershocks since - a 5.7 on Monday, for example. And another 4 something (yawn) an hour ago.
Rock and Roll!
