Default Has anyone thought of a 350 chevy spyder?

I have dreamed of a chromed out pipe bent 350 "boss hoss" style spyder I just wonder if it has been done yet?

Wouldn't a 350 be mighty heavy for that frame? 327 /450 might fit better. Ken krb1945

    Default 327/400?

I thought a 327 was a 350 block size punched out different and stroked different so how would that help
, granted it should be a little more revy

if you want smaller 4.3 v6 chevy fuel injection still around 300 hp and a lot let weight It might even be cheaper with this setup

GM played a numbers game depending on which car line they put the 327 in= 327/326/330, then punched to 350 +,
Nobody does that anymore. 990/991/998 point something.

OK like all these new RT and RS products just pop out of my....

I wish I had your money, then I could burn mine!

I can't wait to see the Sea-Doo trailer! I think it's going to be killer cool, A BRP RS pulling a BRP Sea-Doo that then is a trailer with all the gear inside!

All SBC weigh the same within a few pounds unless you add aluminum heads and intake. The best way to go is the LS series engines, the all aluminum V8's in the newer Vettes and Camaros. More power and lighter weight means more fun. I would like to try using a Busa or ZX14 engine in there but would lose reverse.

My Boss Hoss was a 1999 single speed with no reverse. I put a two speed in it (because they said it couldn't be done) and it had reverse but I never bothered to hook it up. I drove it for four years like that. Reverse is nice but if I could manage a 1200lb two wheeler without it I'm sure I'll do fine with a 700lb three wheeler.

Two speed that they said wouldn't fit.

Lamont, you have gotten my full attention now. I have been wondering about putting a Busa engine in a Spyder for quite a while now. I was thinking I would have to wait until all of the warranty time had expired before seeing something like this done. Please keep us posted on the progress, and let us know what type of modifications you need to do in order to make this happen.
    Very Happy Spyder Ryder!
