Redneck solution to oil spill
Since BP and others cannot find a solution to the oil spill leave it to the country boy to figure it out.

Saw these guys on a TV show about this. BP could also be using their fleet to siphon the oil off the surface. Another cool thing that has been done before is to use a certain microbial fungus that eats the oil--- and leaves no residue at all.
At this point they need to try anything and everything.
Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

Yeah, but they deplete the water of oxygen which causes dead zones. There's no good way out of this mess.
Number One: 2008 Yellow GS SM5. I love my Spyder.
Number Two: 2012 RT-S Limited (the poop colored RT) I still have Number One, but Some Girl made me buy Number Two...

Hats off to these guys!
This is about as GREEN a solution as I have seen to this mess.

Thats awesome. I have seen the oil first hand, monitoring it for the last month to avoid transitting in the heavier areas. And, no matter what BP claims, its real bad and just getting worse.

I heard they actually came up with a much simpler solution to stop the leak all together.
Someone figured out if they drop a wedding ring on it, then it will stop putting out.

There are only two options right now to stop this neither one is good.
