To go faster at red line he will have to change the gearing. Easiest way to do that is go bigger counter shaft sprocket. I don't see it as much of an advantage with the stock setup as the engine already has trouble getting to red line in 5th.
But with the Turbo, taller gearing should be no problem.
I'm wondering if the Turob might even give him an advantage in the twisties! Love to test that theory!
Should be interesting....

OK correct me if I am wrong but----The stock drive gear is a 40 tooth gear, (Or I think it is),, so having said that would he need a LARGER gear with more teeth or a smaller one with less teeth?? I think I understand the concept just not really clear to me... Yah I'm sure you can tell I'm a bit confussed on the whole Revolutions to Ratio concept.. Just asking is all..
PS: After a bit of research I think I'm WAY off on the number of teeth on the original front sprocket...

The clutch uses vacuum assist maybe you can tap into that unless you have done away with it.
Maybe a small electric vacuum pump would work if you can't access any vacuum ports.
