My bad Black RT-S was borned on (As they say here in Alabama ) 06-23-2010 @ 13:44:33 (glad it was after lunch on a Wednesday ), bought on July 29, 2010, and brand new in the crate and getting ready to turn over the first 600 miles!

No other big butts on it but mine!

Don't know when she/he was conceived, but my Black RTS PE0069 was born on Friday 11/27/2009 at 09:20:45.

I checked it out and my info is: 2009/10/19 14:33:11, and was purchased 11/2009. I think it was still warm from the factory when we purchased it.

I'm bad! I got ahead of myself. I read about looking on the swingarm in your 1st. post and skipped reading the one below it. Maybe they aren't putting that info on the 2011's.

If you look through the vent just below the left mirror there is a sticker that has the model #, date and time. Use a flashlight it is near the top and forward on the frame. I found it when installing the GPS system. My first thought was this must be when they put it together.

Upper right on the VIN sticker, right side frame Just forward of the muffler.

On the RS this information is located on a sticker at the front of the machine and is visible when you remove the frunk. This must be the equivalent of a "build sheet" on a car.

For example the date on my swingarm is 11/2008 and on the sticker up front 141108 1406 or Nov. 14, 2008 at 2:06 pm. It also identifies my Spyder as a Red RS 5spd. I have an '09 SM5.

It was kinda fun looking for this info!

Tip...

Instead of having to remove the Frunk... I found a duplicate sticker behind the Speedometer cluster. You only need a small allen wrench, two hands and remove the Cluster to expose the sticker that is stuck to the main plastic framing on the bike (Not on the cluster)... In other-words... The cluster is in one hand.. and you look in the hole left behind from the removal of the cluster to see this sticker. BTW.. It was clear that this area gets wet because the sticker did show signs of being wet (I drive in the rain) so even if we wash the bike there is a good chance this sticker will not be readable for all...

anybody got any update info on where this "born on date" is located on 2013 RT's? There is nothing visible thru the vent under the left hand mirror that I can see. As I understand the frame on 2013's changed significantly. Which perhaps explains why its not there anymore. There is a sticker on rear swing arm, left side that does have the month/year.

As I recall, I saw the manufacture date stamped on the title. Will have to get the title out of the safe and check it again.
