Ok this stuff is nuts!!! Just called the manufacturer to get someone in the California area and was quoted between 8-10K to paint my red panels with the red Spectra Chrome paint!!!!

Did you ever get a price for the paint job? I looked online and the paint costs about $2-$3 per square foot but it also requires some new equipment, probably some training, etc -- so not sure what a paint shop would charge.

Sounds about right based on the quote I got as well. That is why you don't currently see me with a chrome Spyder.
