Spyder DPS Poll
Hope this is okay Lamont--- please remove if it is not......
So how about we get some real numbers to look at?
Let's find out just who and how many have had DPS problems.
Let's keep this simple--- 3 questions, and 3 possible years.
The term 'DPS problems' pertains to steering issues (not vss).
The term 'Fixed' means the problem is no longer present.
Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!
-
So what are the 3 questions ?

Nope-- not going to be needed if people take the time to fill this poll out...

Not very scientific at all, if all the options haven't been presented....
OK = just for grins lets state items 4 thru 6 are:
...HAD DPS problems and they ARE ASSUMED fixed

Not voting. With only 2 weeks of ownership and not quite 600 miles. my answer would be of little value.
One thing though, I read a comment, I believe from Nancy's Toy about the RT and how it steers very quickly when changing lanes. That's something that I noticed as well, but I don't have an RS to compare it to.
Perhaps something is different on the RT steering? If the problems were caused by loose relays or fuses, that's something that has certainly been addressed on the RT. The fuse box is in a vault.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Um-- no.. actually I thought of putting that option - but adding it would actually slant things and not show as many UN-FIXED DPS units. Not to mention the POLL feature only allows 10 answers.
There's no way this is slanted to favor 'fixed' vs. 'not fixed'.
You don't consider yours fixed. Your answer should be clear as day and should HELP your cause.

Then it's NOT fixed.
Multiple choice shouldn't be this hard.
Don't like it - don't answer - but then you'll only be skewing the numbers and that doesn't help anyone.
Simply choose yours is NOT fixed and then add a note in here explaining your selection.
This is the internets--- it ain't gonna be perfectly scientific.

C'mon folks--- 150 views and only 23 votes???
If ya own a Spyder and have any decent amount of miles on it-- please take part in this POLL. I'm as curious as the next guy to get a good feel for just what kind of numbers we are looking at.
This is for everyone's benefit.

I know 10 of the views are mine, checking to see if the numbers have increased any since the last time I checked. I am probably not the only one.

me and mc'fly are probably responsible for 50+ views.

No problem with that thought process at all. Poll text cannot be changed (for obvious reasons).
