I love FMC's white. It is the purest white I have seen. My F-150 and the wife's Fusion are white. Other white cars look yellowish or dingy when parked next to ours.

What color are your cars, paint names? Are they "platinum white tri-coat"
Seems like there are so man shades of white. I dont think this is going to be pure pure white.

The F-150 is Oxford White & the Fusion is Platinum White. Not sure if they're tri-coat. Also not sure if they're the same color with a different name, side by side they look the same to me, they are white white.
It's probably just the lighting but the photo of your panels look to me like a Pearl White and not the photo of the Lincoln. And by Pearl White I mean the Pearl White that has multiple coats and is very expensive to do. Lots of depth with the color and look of a pearl.

Thanks.
It's funny because when I first went to the shop, they said it would be A LOT more expensive to do a pearl (multiple coats and way more paint) so I started looking at cars on the road. I really liked the fords/lincolns that were white white, but also saw some that were pearl. I sent the paint code for the white platinum tri-coat and said that's what I wanted. It does look really pearl in the pics, but I haven't even seen it yet in the sun. I'm very happy with the way it looks in the office, and I doubt it will look bad in the sunlight...

They are working on my wheels now, so im not sure when I will get it back.

I've been thinking of painting mine to match my Acura, which is white diamond pearl, also a tri-coat. Looks very similar to yours.
Or, I may end up buying a new 2010, who knows.
How hard is it to keep the Acura clean?
The spyder is so small, i can wash it pretty easily, just wondering how often I'll have to wash it.

I have a warped perception of "clean" because I live on a gravel road (currently muck road), but it sure stays alot cleaner than our black S2000. It doesn't show the dust near as bad.

I've always wanted to see a black and white Spyder. With the body shape and contours, I think it would like like an orca.

Does anyone use any type of clear 3M paint protector film? There are a few spots I'd like to install some, where my bags usually sit.
As soon as I get my wheels on, i'll take some good pics with a real camera.

That looks great to me as well.
What color are you going with for the wheels?

The plan is to leave all the black as is, and paint the silver face to match the bike. Then paint the wheel trim kit white to match as well. They said the reason its take so long is because the tape job on these things took forever, and they may have to spray it all white, tape the face and then spray the black on again... I hope to hear something this weekend or Tuesday.

That should look really cool as well. I am sure the tape job was a royal PITA for all of the different lines on those rims.

Great color

Nice paint job. Some thin black pinstriping along the sides to accentuate the curves might set it off nicely.

Looks great and can't wait to see what the wheels add to the overall scheme. So far a really nice job
