brighter H7 bulbs
I wanted brighter headlights but wasn't ready to spring for hid yet so I tried these . They make a marked improvement

did some looking around the street car forums looking for brighter H7's
2009 SE5 Aerocharger turbo, Evoluzione Swaybar, Penske racing shocks, 225/45 r15 hankook ventus r-s3 tires all the way around

Any issue with heat from these bulbs on the stock wires.

no the extra 10 watts is not a problem. just 833 milliamps more current @ 12v

Thanks for the info and the link for these. Do you know if this same bulb will work in the fog lights? That might make for a pretty interesting combination.

Foglight bulbs are different. They use 35W H8 bulbs. No upgrade that I know of, without modifying the bulb socket...and the wiring may not be up to too much of a boost, anyway.

Thanks for keeping me from wasting my time on the fog lights, and possibly causing a big problem for myself as well.

So exactly how bright are they compared to Stock and the HIDs?

Something like 2200 lumens vs. 1350 lumens. Same wattage and output as the 65W RT-S headlights.

I've use them too and they are much brighter than stock but no comparison to the HID's
