Anyone had any dealings with Lowell from NY, he said he put a gsxr motor in a spyder
He also said he put a wider rear tire on and had his extra rear rim and tire for sale, this is also on spydertalk, I called him about this before I left for UT to race on the salt flats and he said he sent the rim to the address on the check and of course had no tracking info and then was going to send it again in November and have not been able to get ahold of him since early December, wondered if he died or was in jail or worse trying to scam me out of my money.
Anyway anyone with a custom spyder like this would have known others ,just wondering if anyone in the area knows him. and how to get ahold of him and my rear rim and stuff.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a scam, but I hope not.

If you sent a check, what town was he in?? I'd get a phone book or check switchboard and call some dealers in the area to see if they know of the bike/guy.
I build custom cars and while a gsxr engine would be neat, I think it would give negative returns. Seems it would be easier to graft a front end on to a Gixxer than do the fab work to put one in a spyder, IMHO.
If he has such a bike, it would likely be known by every bike shop in the area. Around here any unusual/custom bike gets to be known pretty quickly. I'd start with bike shops in the area.
Good Luck, I think Bonneville is long passed, so considerable time has already taken place.

Sounds like you're asking on the wrong Spyder site. Try the one he posted it on.

he posted it up on the lesser site after I bought it from him, he saw my post on here and on there and said he had one,
I will have to dig his address out of my other phone
the number he has is 347-707 8907, I know he has talked to eviozone ken about issues with the mod but have not seen anything he build. Any help would be great, a case of beer of a beverage of your choice, or more for more help.

That's some pic of you (avatar) in the snow...I tried that one time and didn't want to take the chance! My AWD Lexus is a bit more comforting in that stuff! Ride on though...good to go!
