Rode yesterday for the first time in three weeks, it was over 50 degrees and the streets were dry. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of when I bought the Spyder, and I'm just 40 miles short of 5000.

Nope, it was -4F this AM, plus the Spyder is in a deep sleep until spring.

    Default Not me...

Temp has been in the 20's and 30 for the past few days in "my neck of the woods" and my old bones can't take it right now. But I am "chompin at the bit" to ride. When it gets back to 60 probably tomorrow I'll warm 'em up. /Ken

Got real tired of this cold spell in the south. Rode yesterday to work. Weather Channel said 20 degrees but 45 when I got home. Today started out at 26 and is now 50. Don' know how you northerners can go so long without ryding

Picked the Spyder up from the dealer yesterday and rode to work. Beautiful day for a ride. Spyder was reading 69F. Didn't have to wear any of my thermals or balaclava and I had on my summer gloves. Did have the liner in the jacket of my leathers, but that was it. Going home was around 40F. Coming in today bike was reading 53F the whole way in. Supposed to stay this way the next few days. Going to enjoy it while it's here.

Our temps are supposed to rise into the 50s for the next few days, but of course that is because the rain is coming.

Finally climbed back to about 40 today, after two weeks of numbing cold. My SE5 slumbers in the garage, awaiting temps back to about 50. In theory, at least, that should occur for a few days next week. First, I wanna make sure the salt is washed from the roads by a little rain beforehand.

The temp has been in the 20's and 30 for the past few days here in Maryland and I have rode my everyday to work. Tuesday when I left for work it was 15, but I only have a 25 min ride to work, so it wasn't to bad.

I love riding my no matter what the weather is and I'm 65 years old.

Made it out today for the first time in weeks. Temps were in the high 40s/low 50s. Pretty balmy compared to the last month. Supposed to turn cold with snow again real soon. Anyway, today felt guuuud!

I've been out all week riding with temps in mid to high 40s to mid 50s Thursday and Friday looks like mid 60s. Than the rain will come in on Saturday and the next 5 days, sunny with temps remaining in high 50s to mid 60s.

I know how tough it must be to see your Spyder sitting in the garage and wishing the cold and snow would go away. I felt like that before moving here, without a bike. I hated every winter, except when Bob Steele was announcing school closings on WTIC radio, back in the 1950s and 60s. Of course a dusting of flurries, didn't count as a storm back than.

Rode 45 minutes to work this morning, arriving about 6:45 AM. It was 28 degrees, but had the Gerbings on & the heated grips on low. Overall, I was very comfortable. Looking forward to the ride home in the upper 50's.
