Are you running a Stock or Custom Spyder?
Thought it would be interesting to see if there are any Spyder Ryders out there still running everything STOCK vs. Modifications/Accessories.
Cheers.

I believe there are some here who run them stock.
Mine has some different stuff - CHAD, two bros exhaust, juicebox, risers, comfort seat, axle nut covers, no major paint job or anything. But I am happy w/ the way it is. Don't really want anything more major.

I got the Hindle exhaust and the 2" riser from the dealer when I bought the bike. Do you consider the sport rack and seat back stock or mod?

So much more fun to add mods of all types...I am one who thinks the stock bike is nice, but with all you can do to it to make it safer and perform better, it's hard not to go down that road...blame Evan at ESI for corrupting many of us!

All stock through the end of 2009, I have a Juice Box and KewlMetal Intake in my closet and plan to purchase an MBRP exhaust in the spring. I'll be putting everything on in mid-late April when the Spyder comes out of hibernation from my buddies walk-in basement.

Need to update my Sig... but
CHAD, Wheel mounted Motolights, Eastern Beaver PC-8 power buss, powerlets in dash, Helibar risers, side v35 and top V46 Givi cases.

Almost everything that I have owned (with wheels) has had some sort of modification. Don't want to go down the road and see a FILL IN THE BLANK just like yours going the other way. Sometimes, it drives my wife nuts.

i've got a Hindle exhaust. Not by choice it was already on there when I bought the spyder. So far it doesn't annoy me enough to find a stock one for it though.

Bad enought having to shell out 26K aussie for the spyder, cant afford any mods at the moment. buying from brp in aust is expensive, but getting stuff over from the us via ups is just plain rude.
Still dont regret buying as im having soooooo much fun.would be better if there were more local riders out there to play with..

BRP makes Sports Spyders and Touring Spyders, but I'm a Cruiser type guy. I takes a lot of aftermarket goodies to make a cruiser out of a stock Spyder. Some say, "it is what it is", but I like it better when "it is what it ain't".

for me, running stock was great for short runs, not so good for the long haul, my mods continue.
so far; Corbin bags and saddle; Kewl mirror extensions, handle bar and highway pegs;GPS;NMN LED's,double play, triple play; CHAD; Kury passanger pegs; Throttlemeister and Audiovox cruise.
working on; 12v plugs and removing tail lights for NMN LED conversion

The Spyder replaced my car as my primary source of transportation, I NEED the storage space I have added to the Spyder. Most of the modifications were for necessity of comfort on long trips.
