    Default err ah . . . . .

. . . . something above 125 mph. Once was enough. Right after I slowed down, a couple of coyotes ran out in front of me.

    It was here.

    Default Son n law

When we brought it home, 15 months ago, son n law drove it, and he had it up to 104, with plenty left. Since then I have been up to 74 (yes seventy four) and it was very stableHope to improve this summer

A buck and a quarter on I-70 in Western Maryland. Sunny, warm, and dry. Got nervous...kept hoping I didn't have a blowout. Travel 80 routinely in WV...speed limit is 70

Just over 100 on I44, had to make sure the third digit worked on the speedometer.

OK, I just have to ask.

Why would anyone admit anything like this on the web? The info stays here forever. What if... ??????????????

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may tend to incriminate me.............besides, Nancy might find out and it was on her Spyder.

70, while passing a slow mover. Then back to 55/60. Period.

I don't know exactly how fast, but it was on the track at Mid America Motorplex. After I hit the rev limiter at 91 in third gear, I shifted to fourth and saw it hit 97 but was too busy to look at the speedo after that.

Default Not saying & you can't make me!

Though I'm not saying an exact number, I will say I'm "right up there with ya" I haven't topped out yet, cuz I keep running out of room/road. I am no speed demon, but with this machine, I can't seem to help myself!!

I too, love to see the expressions of others, whether it's cagers or other riders, when they realize that they were just passed by a "girl!"

Had mine for almost 2 years now, and I am still just as in love with this machine as day one!

Have it shipped to Germany and tell the truck driver to deliver it to an Autobahn Enfarht of your choice. Jump on and enter the Autobahn and you will be up to speed very quickly.

Riding with a guy that does 130mph up on-ramps to the freeway (hard to merge at that speed) it really doesn't matter how fast you've gone unless you get caught!

Default How fast have you gone

I think Seth said that he was clocked at 110 at the Bonneville Salt Flats on his 2008 Spyder.

    Default Nice looking home made...

    head stone.

Will these machines really do 130?

I was testing my dual exhaust a few weeks ago and zipped it right up to 95 but the r"s were getting a little high. Must have been the gear I was using. I must be a good cook my SO said I shouldn't ride that fast at my young tender age.

    Default Speed

About 115 mph---Don't know how much more it had left.
Seems a lot faster than the same or greater speed on the Wing.

    You're kidding---- right???
I don't see how posting s top speed out here could bring any trouble whatsoever.

That being said---- I've hit 128 on more than one occasion - on different roads. GPS read around 5mph less. The bike still had maybe 5-10 mph left in my opinion.

With the bigger CHAD installed I've had trouble getting it over 120mph. I've hit 118 a dozen or so times----- me likes the SPEED!

    Spyder #1 - 2008 GS SM5 Premier Edition #1977. RIP after 80,000 miles.
    Spyder #2 - 2012 RT SM5. Traded in after 24,000 miles.
    Spyder #3 - 2015 F3 SM6. Put 13,000 miles on and sold it.
    Spyder #4 - 2017 F3 SM6. Too good of a deal to pass up!

I've had mine up over 110 a bunch. But twice with a good tail wind 123-125 started to get a little bounce in the speedo needle. Had more throttle ran out of RPM's
