What is this plastic rod? Should it be attached somewhere?
I was under the 2023 Spyder RT-L today and noticed this rod that appears to need to be attached with a nut and bolt to the hole below it.
Can anyone tell be what this is and what purpose it serves? Could you recommend taking it in for service or just buying a bolt and nut to reattach?
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that's the connecting rod to the ACS system. You have a Ltd, so it has the Self-leveling system .... Have you noticed that it wasn't working????? .... Mike
Look at a parts Fiche' to see what size it is and get one anywhere they sell nuts and bolts - Ps. it's probably METRIC.

Did you have a new rear tire installed recently? It is disconnected as part of doing a rear tire replacement.

This was a new purchase around three weeks ago. Is this common item they miss on new set ups or should I be worried?
I reconnected and ride is much smoother now.

Now you need to take it back to the dealer and have the ride height calibrated with BUDS. Your Spyder is not right until it is calibrated.

That is one step that gets missed often during initial assembly. It was one of the first things I checked on my F3. My previous RT had it too.

When you get it hooked up correctly you are going to notice a tremendous improvement in ride quality. Based on the pic your air bag is completely collapsed.

And hopefully not pinched and leaking!!!

My right hand up! Yes! My air bag link was not hooked up by my dealer when I took delivery! (I heard the air pump running and then it stopped!) My luck the dealer was closed, so once I got home, I looked in my tin cans of nuts and bolts and found the right metric bolt to hook it up!

It's a '23, let the dealer fix it. If you do have a damaged air bag, they could refuse to fix it because you worked on the system and now it's broke. Worst case for sure, but some dealers are always in the CYA mode.

What years does this apply to? Should I take the tupperware off my 2019 RTL to verify mine is hooked up?

It's not the YEARS that matter ..... only if you have a model that has the " ACS " system ..... The Rt's that have the ACS are the ones that have the Auto Leveling system PUMP .... all the LTD's have them ....Mike

No need to remove any body panels. You can look up under there to see it. You would be aware if it was not hooked up. You would be experiencing a very rough ride otherwise. Many threads on here about it.
