I have the Comfort seat on my '08GS and it has the # 708001006. Purchased from an oem dealer.

To the best of my recollection all the V-twin Engined Frames were the same ...... Look in canamoemparts.com they will tell you what YEAR spyders use/have the same part #'s ..... Mike

The GS and the RS are the same model. Mid 2009 they started calling it an RS - prior to that it was a GS. Same as the RSS as well (RSS being a different trim of the same bike). That seat should fit no problem as it's designed for that model of bike.

Just an update: I bought the Comfort seat for my 2008 GS and it fits perfect! The seat is much more comfortable and looks great on the bike.
