Default Anyone know where to get Phillps Head Style Rivets?

Does anyone know where I can get the Phillps Style Rivet/Push Pin? These are used in the 2021 Spyder RT in the saddle bag area. I think this is the correct part number but not certain 293150248.

try your hardware store in the assorted nuts and bolts, and assorted buttons and nobs. Or your auto parts store! Or lamonster garage.

Those are a barrel thread fasteners or rivnuts. McMasters Carr will have them. They should have about 100 different varieties of them. Once you find the exact name type of McMaster just do a search depending on how many you need.

Ummm Your sure came off a spyder? Don’t see the globs of yellow thread lock-tight that are on EVERYTHING with threads.

Agree those are a barrel thread fasteners or rivnuts. Hopefully stainless steel at that.

All I did was drill it out to 1/4 inch and installed a standard push pin

I removed the plastic screw piece and installed a metal screw into the other half, it works great.

These are not rivets, they are a type of plastic push pin used on the 2020 plus models.

That is what I thought, BRP has them listed as "293150248 Plastic Rivet" items 601 and 611 in the parts guide but they are nearly $3.00 each, I just replaced them with regular pushpins. The downside is due to the location if I need to get in there again I would have to drill them out.

Use a o-ring pick to lift them up and out. A set has several shapes in it and one of those should work. About 10 bucks at amazon.
