Need advice/help with 08 GS SM5 caliper retraction - resolved!

EDIT: I figured it out. The parking brake arm had to come off. :-)

I'm doing the brakes and noticed my caliper will not retract. I've read two different procedures on how to make it retract. Does the 2008 GS require a C clamp? Or does it need to be screwed back in? Also, does the parking brake lever need to be pressed during any of this? I am totally new to Can Ams. It feels like the parking brake is keeping it from retracting. The cable is totally off.
