Thanks for the positive feedback Wooodaddict. People that are not familiar with the 1330 engine don’t understand that these engines can easily go 200,000 with proper maintenance. Most of my miles are highway miles which are easier on the engine than city miles.

You’ve gotten all kinds of information (other peoples info I might add) but they are all supposedly saying what they would do. But they are not the ones doing it. There is NO right answer other than your own, and it sounds to me that you have come to a 75% decision. A Ryker....thats not what I would do, but there again, it’s not me doing it.....IT’S YOU! Go with your gut feeling.

    Thumbs up

delkhouri -- the only way to get a better deal than this https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...Spyder-F3S-SE6 is to steal one.

PS I believe it has the 89T rear sprocket for added performance.

My F3S is currently in winter hibernation, but will be for sale come spring. 2019 F3S with 17,800 miles. Fresh oil/filter at storage. Thinking $11.5K and will include:
    1.) Seth Laam seat
    2.) Madstad windshield
    3.) Two up rear shock
4.) Chopped rear fender/side license plate mount (perfectly good OEM rear fender included)
5.)TricLED lighting, including: aux cat eye lights/sequential front fender lights/run-turn brow lights/rear run-turn-brake light
    6.) DynoJet PV3/map
    7.) BRP heat grips
    8.) Motohorn air horn
    9.) Hopnel tank bra
    10.) TuffSkinz dash protector
    11.) Vredestein 165/60R15 front tires
12.) Goodyear Ultra Grip 216/60R15 rear tire
    13.) Lamonster front frunk light

14K miles were from trips of 800+ miles. Great shape. Located near Madison, WI. Again, it is currently in storage now and won't be publicly listed until mid March

    B. Spyder F3, Probably a 2015 or 2016 F3/F3s with 10-20k miles

Context - I had a 2019 Ryker Rally and sold it to upgrade to a Spyder, but some financial things have changed for me AND I can't find a Spyder for under 12k that isn't beat up. So I am considering a Ryker 900 with Cruise Control as I am hoping that will help solve some of the issues I had with my Ryker before - most notably highway riding at 65-70+ mph for extended periods...
No Brainer... The F3 for sure.

I would delve a little deeper on my retirement portfolio and buy a 2014/2015 F3 (I forget which year the 1300 first came out) if I were you, because like most things, you get what you pay for.

I little late to the thread, but here is my 2 cents..

Ride both and see which one you could live with. I don't purchase based on funds (when I can). A motorcycle or Can-Am is a luxury and not a requirement.

I also am very leery of buying used or with high mileage unless I am sure I can work on it. The older I get, the less I am able to physically do extensive work other than routine (brakes, rotors, fluid changes etc.) tasks. I don't trust or know the abuse a vehicle with high mileage may have endured and this factors in very heavy with me.

So to sum it up, if I preferred a Spyder over a Ryker but the Spyder has so many miles on it, I would NOT get the Ryker just to have something. I would save up and buy a newer model with less mileage. You need to be the judge of what best for you. Both are fun, it depends on what you are wanting from the ride and can afford to settle with.
