Looking for a 2010-2012 OEM or other RT Seat

For some reason, this forum will not let me post a WTB. Since to post I had to make a selection, the only option offered being 'FS'. That's what I did.

Peter said he would fix it when he was able.

I am looking for an OEM or any 2010-2012 RT Spyder seat in at least OK condition. I don't need anything fancy. Have a friend with a torn up original seat that needs something so he can ride it.

I have one from 2012rt. Has utopia back rest and the factory passenger backrest. Not sure on shipping but I'm Going to Deadwood and have room.

Are there no Motor Trimmers around up your way?
New cover and rubber padding if required, use the old cover as a pattern.
Seat Concepts or similar? Fix it on yourself with a staple gun?

He could have it covered. But he's trying to keep the cost to a minimum. I don't have time and he isn't up for it. Just want to throw a seat on his bike so he can ride it.

I have a BRP OEM cover .... I'll have to find it, it....... Mike

I tried to have my seat recovered but the cost would have been over $500 because of the complexity of the back support for the driver. I looked all over for a replacement seat, but none came up. Now here we are with 3 available. Changing times...

I did look, but couldn't see anything on your profile settings or in the section/sub-forum that appeared to be out of place - it even worked fine for me when I tried setting up an ad while using your settings/mimicking your account??

So guess I'll hafta say that it musta been all your fault ( ) Maybe something to do with the way you were sticking your tongue outta the wrong side of your mouth when you hit the prefix box?! But really, I have no idea what was going on or how/why it wouldn't play - probably just more bleedin' un-documented features!

I appreciate the effort. Still locked into 2 choices. (no pre-fix) which isn't really a choice as it prevents posting. Or, FS. But I don't post on this forum very often so it isn't a big deal.
