I bought one used here on the forum with the flip. I installed it, rode with it for a day, and then uninstalled it that night. It had such bad distortion when looking down at the road through the flip I just couldn't stand it. It actually gave me motion sickness. I just couldn't do that to someone else so I threw it in the trash. I do not recommend them at all.
The flip is bent material which is always going to have some distortion. You are not supposed to look through the flip but over it.
