Spyder is out of Hibernation

My spyder is out of hibernation. I took a ride on my spyder today.

It was nice to get back in the saddle again.

Rode 550km yesterday to see my dealer and have the sprocket fix done... glorious day in Southern Ontario!!

Same this afternoon, over here in New York's Catskill Mountains. Just a 45 mile loop to dust off the muscle memory and make sure the machine feels solid.

The spyder riding season has started for me, I hope to get more time to ride this year.

Yes, it is great feeling to get on the spyder again.

( off topic: my snowmobile is know sleeping until Dec., I washed the sled, put stable in the gas tank, put on a battery maintainer.).

Yesterday and today the temps were in the 80's( yesterday the temp was 88 degrees), and sunny.

I went to the dealership to get my spyder inspected.

My spyder was getting restless!

Got mine off life support (Battery Tender) last weekend and rode for the first time since having a hip replaced. Good to get out of the house and enjoy some delayed spring weather here in Northern NV!

I have been looking at mine under her cover this week, but I just got a ton of stuff to get cleaned up after snow season, god my sleds are sitting in my trailer crying for a bath, and I have a inch of dirt to blast out of the trailer!! Spring riding was a little boney this year!!

Agreed. We finally got out (between the rain drops and cold weather) a few days ago again it felt GREAT!
Got dashcam video to prove it !

Yesterday we washed the sleds, and summarized them, they are now sleeping.

In the northern part of Vt. ( Burlington,) broke an old record of 82 degrees. The temp on Saturday was 85 degrees. Next week the temps in 50's and 60's and scattered rain showers. T

After 2 days of replacing rotten "treated" boards on my front deck...a 2hr ride on my RT cleared the cobwebs and made me smile. (But I'm sore this morning!) Need to ride more and work less!

I had to replaced rotted steps on my deck over the weekend so I feel your pain. Next project is replacing the decking boards and rails. I'm not letting that project ruin my chance of riding like the steps did this past weekend. Bummer to waste such nice 80° and sunny weather.

Deanna it was spitting snow this morning. We’re suppose to get up to 2 inches tonight and possible 2 inches tomorrow! It was an awesome weekend though I agree. I put close to 850 miles on last thursday-Sunday. Rode my spyder to work every day last week. We too beat our previous highest temp records. We hit 87 inland while the lake areas stayed at mid 70’s, it was awesome. The roads are definitely clean after all the rain for the past 2 weeks. Still a lot of wind and tree limb damages on the back roads after all the tornados and microbursts. It will be in the 70’s by next weekend so put on tender for a week and pray “ NO SALT ACID METAL EATING BRINE” is dropped!
