After playing with BRP Go in the garage I can see it is a bit quirky for my taste. I decided to mount my iPhone and go back to that navigation and music and the best I have found seems to be the Tackform Center Mount. I think the Short Reach but that is not clear since the bike is so new to me. The other reason is with a Ruroc helmet Siri works so that makes it handsfree.
Thoughts appreciated.

Reason: Expanded title to briefly ask the question... ;-)

The Tackform was my first choice also, BUT my S20FE with defender case was too THICK to fit! So I found this BRCOVAN Aluminum Alloy for motorcycles on Amazon. It has an anti vibration feature. $79.99 Bill

My S20+ with the Otterbox Defender fits great in my Tackform

When reading specs on the Tackform it stated only good for .5" thickness & my otterbox defender is 5/8"+.
I'm in need of a second phone holder so I will likely order the Tackform. Can always return if it doesn't fit.
Thanks K80 for that info! Bill

I have my TracForm mounted on my Spyder Cuff from Lamonster Garage. Works great for me.
Same here except I use the Phone Phang from LaMonster. Functionally equivalent to the Tackform. The Spyder Cuff is the way to go with a drink holder on back.

Peter Pan has struck again!
I put the short reach on my 2018 F3L. Used the lower right side bolt and turned the i phone horizontally. Doesn't block my view of signal or gear indicators. Two thumbs up!!

I’m glad you mentioned the lower holes. I wasn’t sure. However Murphy’s Law is at work. Buy a new bike invoke a week long ice storm.
Frustrated to find the hex bolt on the RT is a different size than that for the Tackform. Apparently, I don’t have that size and will have to order it. Could someone be so kind as to tell me the bolt size is on the RT?

First we would have to guess at what RT you have.

I just realized that all the info that I posted was not what you were looking for, so I replaced it with this. I thought you were wanting a bolt, but you were looking for wrench size.
Carry on.

Dochands, It REALLY helps if you add your Spyder details in your Signature block, then when you post a question, everyone can see which Spyder you're referring to.
I have the TacForm mount mounted over my dash from a Spyderbar on my '13 and now my '18 RTL. I like the landscape view for mapping and don't have to look down at my handlebars.

Read my post above. I thought I had. Not sure why it’s not showing.
I just checked your profile, and you didn't have anything in the Signature Box itself, just in the 'Current Transportation' box - so I've added that info to your Signature Line, but it seems you don't have the 'Display Signature with Every Post' box checked somewhere, cos it still isn't showing....
Try clicking on 'Settings' up in the top right corner of the page & check/edit your Signature as necessary, then make sure you've checked any/all of the 'Show Signature' boxes on your profile; then back right out of the Forum before logging back in - that should reset everything & with any luck it'll show then. If not, you could try clearing your cookies & history, but it'd probably help more if you drop me a PM so I can have a bit more of a look.... I will shortly be off the Forum for the next four hours or so, but will be back on after that... Good Luck!
