Fly Racing Street Terra Trek Jacket. I use this when it’s cold. Does an outstanding job. Awesome at blocking wind not that that is much of a deal on the spyder but with my motorcycle it was wonderful. Very warm. I love it. The one I got was discontinued and this is the newer version.
Fly Racing Street Coolpro Jacket. This is a mesh jacket with armor in the elbows and it is great for warm riding even when it is hot out. Lets plenty of air in.
Both of these were purchased from RevZilla.
Good luck

If that's what you've got, then why don't you use them!
Or is there a particular reason they aren't doing the job for you??
I have a leather motorcycle jacket (with upgraded shoulder, back, & elbow armour ) that I wear on the odd occasion that it's cold enough to warrant it here in Oz; a Can Am mesh jacket (with similar armour) that I wear most of the time; and a lightweight mesh jacket (with similar armour) that I use when it's really hot, and I always wear helmet, gloves, & riding jeans or chino's with built in/included hip & knee armour!
The only jacket I got specifically to wear while ryding the Spyder was the Can Am jacket, cos that basically came as part of the purchase deal - the others, I've had & worn for many years on a range of motorcycles & other machines where it's appropriate to wear some form of protective gear with armour built in/included! And YES, the armour is well worth adding if it's not already built in/included - while it might not do too much if you get hit by or 'rub up' against another vehicle, and the likelihood of parting company with your Spyder is less than it is on two wheels, it is still a significant risk & that armour has saved me from broken bones/shattered joints on a number of occasions when for various reasons I have parted company with my ryde! (Doesn't stop the bruises tho! ) It's not as if there isn't suitable protective clothing to suit all weather conditions & needs these days.

This is my first jacket that I used since last riding season.

I just brought this jacket. It is way heavier then my mesh jacket. Wore it on a 40° ride the other day. Though I could feel the wind hitting it, not so much as a breeze made it though. I suspect it may be too much in warmer weather.

Joe Rocket Phoenix Mesh, First Gear Kilimanjaro, First Gear Scout Leather. The oldest is 30 years, the newest is 12 years. Buy quality,Take good care of it, and your riding gear will last for years. The Scout was my only Jacket for years and I wore it all 4 seasons. When I got the Phoenix it was a nice relief in the hot Utah Summers. I do carry a liner for it as at some elevations and early mornings or late evenings it can get cold.

I have a one-piece in Grey and a two-piece in Red (no longer available) both with TF3 armor.
Normally I'm ATGATT but sometimes I'll wear only the two-piece jacket when going to a nearby friend's house on 25mph roads.
I'd like to note that only Aerostich is the only accepted alternative to leathers for motorcycle Open Track days.
So when are we going to talk gloves?

...Well, I wear several different types. I go with the weather news for Indiana, the temperature is a good factor. Always use the Safety of the jacket.
Diffentily a 'hi-visibility' for peace of mind.
I also only Ryde with a 'Full Face' helmet.

I wear a Joe Rocket Phoenix 13.0 Mesh Jacket Black that I bought for 2 wheel riding. Because it's mesh, it really comfortable even when it's "Canada" warm outside.

I wear a Scorpion Yosemite--mesh jacket with removable liner. It's great for all but the coldest days in Georgia. I've also got the matching over pants for cold days or long rides.

I have a full body armored suit that I wear sometimes, especially when it is cold outside. I have leather and Joe Rocket mesh jackets also when the weather is appropriate.

We are using similar. Bought orange ones to match our bikes. Mesh with liners. I found them on the internet for $49.95 each. After a year of wear, they still look like new. The liners are currently in, but will soon be out.
We have two five foot long coat racks of everything riding. Textile, mesh, leather and most are from name brands. Most cost $200 or more each. Here, we don't need the heaviness, because of the warmer climate. We bought rain suits, which we carry with us. So far, have not needed them. I am probably going to have a sale on my "older" jackets later this season. XL and 2XL for most of them. I have a couple 20 year old leather ones...that still look like new.

Being in NY, you should have waterproof gear and mesh gear. I wear all bonded GORETEX for the cold and wet times (1st Gear jacket & AlpineStars pants). On hot days, I wear a Klim mesh with zip-up panels. If it's very hot (100+) I wear the solid 1st Gear jacket to keep the 'hairdryer' heat off my body.

I usually wear my thick leather brown bomber leather jacket. Coupled with my aviation-inspired helmet, I sometimes feel like I'm flying, LOL.
