Default Any tips on Right switch switch assy replacement?

    Good morning all,
I’m getting ready to replace the right side switch assembly on my 2018 F3S (the one with the red kill switch in it) and am looking for some tips. Does it split and go around the bar? Does the throttle come off and the switch slide off? If so how?
As always, thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Guess no one has any ideas. I’ll report back after I’ve done the job and maybe my experience will help someone else.

Probably a good idea, it never hurts to share what you've learnt, especially if it's learnt by doing!

But you should also remember that this is a Forum with (at least some!? ) Members who actually have a life beyond the Forum & some/others who often go ryding, sometimes even during the week while many are working! . That means that even if you want/need an answer NOW, the other members who might know the answer simply might not get to visit the Forum every day - many only visit once a week or even less frequently; and it often takes at least a week or so before you'll see many people even start reading things like this thread, let alone answering any/all the new posts & threads that've been put up since they were last on the boards (which may well often be 7-10 or more days ago) That's why you need to be patient when asking questions/waiting for answers; and why using the New Posts search whenever you visit is such a good idea; or if you visited yesterday, you could try clicking on Quick Links & then selecting Today's Posts from the drop down list.

So please, be patient, this Forum is definitely not faceache or any of the other 'short attention span/instant gratification' sites that will swamp any answer with other stuff almost as soon as it's posted - cos this is a Forum, all the shared knowledge & experience posted is retained so that you can search on it later, and the Members here aren't just any old blow-ins, they are largely Spyder/Ryker Lovers AND Ryders, and as a result most of them spend at least some of their time out there ryding instead of being keyboard warriors &/or a legend in their own lunchbox!

As someone who may or may not be famous or the star of a TV Series once said, "Patience Grasshopper!"
