Are the arm rests independent of the top case, so that they can be used with a BRP sport rack/back rest?

They are indeed independent and even raise and lower on each side so the passenger can get on and off more easily. This is my favorite new product.

The armrests look pretty slick, Billy. Have you worked out a price for them yet?

Will it handle a HiPoint 9mm carbine with a fifteen round clip and red dot scope?

Still working on pricing. Only made a few prototypes at this point. Setting up for a production run. It's a tough balance to make top quality american made products that people can still afford. Check our web page at www.industrialspecialty.com as it should be updated with new products very soon.

Don't like the peg or the new board? We can now adapt other manufacturer's pegs to our risers that mount to our boards. Just let me know what type you would like to adapt and I can make it happen.

Like what? Really, I'm not seeing it.

You know what I could use? a small compartment, like a windshield bag... something up front and convenient that could hold a garage door opener, my house keys, maybe a pair of sunglasses... I have tons of storage, but need just that little convenient spot I can reach when I'm sitting on my Spyder.
