Cool 2022 Spyder RT Limited or F3 Limited. Same price.

Trying to decide on my next purchase. The carbon black in either bike. The price is about the same for either bike as configured. The specs seems very much the same. Ugly nose still on the F3. Not much frunk on the RT.

So how to decide? Or are they the same with a different name?

I know you all so opinions appreciated.

Depends or your riding style and preferred ergonomics.
20+ F3 is foot-forward (cruiser) and lower seating than RT. You can add floorboards like the RT but may be cramped depending on your size.
20+ RT has floorboards so foot position can be shifted infinitely. You sit a little higher on the RT and the fairing is broader and higher than the F3. The RT screen is electrically adjustable, F3 is fixed.
I came off higher-end sport touring bikes and the RT fit me best.

Around the same price for the ‘22 models? That’s interesting, Dochands. There is about $6k difference on the ‘21 RT-L and F3-L models (but that’s Aussie $….would be a bit less of a difference in usd). We won’t get to see ‘22 pricing for many months yet

Or you could look into an almost new '21 RT with more installed add-ons than you can shake a stick at. Coincidentally, I have just that for sale.

I guess I will have to ride both and see. Having a 2009 RS I originally thought the RTs looked a bit bloated but not anymore. MONK - what color is the bike you are selling? Send me a PM with details.

If you're going to buy a new Spyder without extensively test riding both models you're considering why not just send me the money instead. I know exactly what I can do with it and how much pleasure it will give me.

I bought my 1st spyder F3-T without riding an RT. I traded my F3-T in for an 18 F3-L. I did ride an RT this time, and hence the F3. The RT bikes look like every available option fully loaded sofa bike. I want sporty and the F3 is awesome for that.

I do not need an accessory that rubs your ass as you go down the rode...Wait. Hold on. I might take that back.

    Naaa. F3 for this guy.

The F3LTD is a couple thousand less than the RTLTD, but the Frunk on the RT is vastly larger. As are the side cases. The top box is very close for both in size. The F3 is a little lighter, so, a little quicker. Ride both, then decide! Monk’s Petrol Blue STD with a Shad top box is a competitive deal. Little inventory out there.
