Default 21 RT Passenger armrests - have they fixed the gap problem?

Hey all…tried a search and didn’t find the definitive answer I was seeking..so hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.
I’ve got a 21 sea to sky and I’m confused on the parts description… 219400958 seems to be the ones I’m after, but it says incompatible with RT rear panel?
I read a couple reviews that the fit was crap with gaps….anyone know if this has been resolved or not?
I reached out to BRP and they wanted my location to put me in touch with a dealer why I asked do they even sell parts to the general public if no one there can answer a simple question whether or not it’s been fixed

So if someone has a revised part number or knows if the fitting issues are fixed could you please chime in?

    Thanks in advance
    Bill

Guessing my “intro” wasn’t enough and need someone else’s keystrokes?

I received and installed the armrests on my 2021 RTL last week. There is still a gap in the back - although it doesn't bother me personally it would be nice if it fit a little better there.

My comment was directed at whoever changed my original introduction, guess it didn’t meet their criteria?…….Nothing to do with being patient while waiting for a response.

I just installed armrests on my 2021 RTL and the gap issue is still an issue. I also noticed that the aft rubber boot for the heated handgrips are also impossible to make fit back to where they look decent. I'm still working on fixing that issue. It may require some trimming of the rubber boot to make it fit right. I just hate to do that, in case I want to take them off and put it back to original.

I installed the passenger arm rests on my 2020 RTL. The rubber boots gave me a headache. I trimmed the lower "lip" of the boot. This gave the boot more flexibility to fit and looks fine since the cut was underneath it.

I just had it installed. They did not fix the issue, and when I asked BRP... they told me to talk to dealership...

BRP has an issue with fit and finish. It's been an issue for a very long time. A lot of us have taken on projects to address them, I made rubber boots for the back of the armests. I hope you find something that works for you....

    See this other thread: https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...e!-New-Part-No

Apparently there is a new part number but no idea yet if it has fixed the problem. I just tried installing one (old part number) that arrived today and it still has the gap (I didn't know about a newer part number when ordering or I would have tried the newer one).
