    Default SPYDER GRILL

WANTED SOME EXTRA FLAIR FOR MY SPYDER AND DECIDED TO MAKE A GRILL FOR THE FRONT. MADE OUT OF STAINLESS STEEL AND BUFFED OUT TO LOOK LIKE CHROME.

That is cool. Is it an overlay, or did you actually cut away the nose and provide added air flow?

Chances are the referenced post is positive in nature, may result in a solution, alteration, modification, or highlights an extraordinary event or ride, that's worth posting.

The silver deflector and the grills really improve on the look over stock.

This looks like a first class mod that a lot of owners may want....did you have a fab shop lazer cut the grill for you??
If they are interested in doing another I may be interested.
This is sharp, and stainless is the way to go, although aluminun would also probably be fine and also polish to high lustre. How did you anchor to spyder front end??
    Again....looks fantastic!!

I APPRECIATE ALL THE NICE COMMENTS ABOUT THE GRILL. IT IS ACTUALLY AN OVERLAY, THE NOSEPIECE IN BACK OF IT IS STILL BLACK, WHILE THE REST WAS PAINTED TO MATCH THE BIKE. IT WAS ATTACHED BY WELDING 4 STAINLESS SCREWS WITH SELF LOCKING NUTS. I HAD A MAN IN MY AREA WITH A WATER JET CUTTER CUT OUT THE SLOTS. THEN I FORMED IT TO FIT THE CURVE OF THE SPYDER, THEN SPENT TWO WEEKS BUFFING IT OUT. I'LL CHECK WITH THE GENTLEMAN THAT DID THE CUTTING AND IF HE IS INTERESTED IN PRODUCING THEM. IF SO I WILL POST CONTACT INFORMATION FOR HIM.

AND AGAIN THANKS FOR THE NICE COMMENTS.

For those that want the chrome look, that would be a most have. I could even see the same design being powder coated black, red, yellow, etc.!

    Nice work. Very unique.

Pretty neat look----Have not seen anyone do this yet.

There would be no more airflow if you did cut out the black as the trunk is right behind it all.

Thought about doing something similar to this but did not get a round2it.
Does someone know where I can get a round2it?
