    One of our country's Military LEGENDS has passed @ 97 .....Brig. General Chuck Yeager, one of the true pioneer's in Flight among other accomplishments ...... R.I.P. Chuck ...................Mike

    He was an amazing guy! He was my Dad’s Mom’s cousin. I can remember hearing stories about him when I was little. Godspeed, General!

    He was on my bucket list of people I wanted to meet. Unfortunately it didn't happen. The General was the RIGHT STUFF.

    I did meet him and shook his hand. It was at the DFC Society Annual Convention on Pensacola NAS, think it was 2008. He was a member and gave one of the convention after dinner speeches, about flying (what else?).
