    Something very simple and easy to check (especially the frunk) is the runner gasket that goes around the opening. If that get popped up, the lid will have a hard time to latch.

    If the gasket isn't the culprit .... you can loosen the 10mm bolts on the side ( slightly ) and move the latch up a hair .... Mike
