Just throwing out an idea, how about buying some cheap metal mesh and fit in front of the radiator? And just fasten it with cable ties or such. Should be easier to remove and clean
Usually I am not a big fan of fine mesh in front of radiators, due to the obvious negative effect on airflow and thus cooling capacity. But in this kind of extreme case, the radiator seems to quickly clog up, so here it could perhaps be a good solution. For a long trip, where you dont have the possiblity to easiliy clean the mesh, perhaps bring a few of them and replace as they get full of bugs.
