The fellow from the link in my previous post called me today. Like it says at his website, he is working with another designer and a few machine shops that do work for Boeing Aircraft on the conversion for the bike in the attached pic. He also has employed the same designer that dreamed up the HD TriGlide to design a front end to enhance the looks of his conversion. He invited me over to check out the converted VMax. The Vmax conversion was more of an experiment that anything. Now he wants to make a kit for a bike that is quite popular and would have a larger "market" A Wing kit may be in the works after the HD,also.

This will be a total bolt on conversion, so there will be no liability problems, according to his attorney. It would be like bolting on a sidecar as far as the state of WA is concerned.

He has even been contacted by several Spyder owners about interest in making a leaning conversion for the Spyder!

I,for one, am very interested in this so far as to consider ...and I cannot believe I am actually saying this..purchasing a earlier Road King and await for this to pan come out.

Any comments and suggestions are welcomed by him.

I d keep my eye on this dude.

The leaning spyder sounds very interesting.

Hey...somebody put this one together backwards. The two wheels go in the front!

Nice looking ride. Hope you enjoy it.

I wrote identical letters to Yamaha and Honda making them know that there is a growing market for this type of product. I also know that BRP is working hard on improving. I hope we can achieve in the future both a stonger and more customer-oriented BRP and some fun viable alternatives and healthy competition...

Before I knew about the Spyder I was waiting 2 years for the Honda
DN-01 to be released to the states. Then along came the Spyder the rest was history. If Honda ever gets into the 3 wheeled market with 2 up front and all the new technology of the DN-01
    I'd have to own one...

Yeah, and look at all them drive belts. I count three
And correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see any rear suspension

Looks cool but I think the Spyder would be a better ride.

ANYWAY..there was a TriGlide parked there, painted a nice blue. I was suprised how "cramped" it looked..like the rider and the passenger were crammed close to each other. Plus, the pricetag and the dual wheels on the wrong end convinced me to keep walking. Sharp looking, tho. Quality control has come by leaps and bounds,(thankfully) since the early '70's.

Has anyone else seen a Rootbeer Harley??
yep and it looks ok but I like my root beer black

It's a TriRod F3-Adrenaline. The company is in San Diego and they're currently looking for capital investors to go into production. Several weeks ago, I saw the prototype in the pics above in the garage belonging to one of the partners in the company - he lives 2 doors down from me. Unfortunately, he won't ride it or let ME ride it, lol, as it is 'uninsurable' and somewhat invaluable at the moment.

Try BTW, Brothers of the Third Wheel. Most or them ride the wrong-way-trikes with the single wheel in front.

Saw a nice looking 3 wheeled Honda trike at the fair today. Unfortunately my boyfriend decided to talk to them about my Spyder and got dissed for his trouble. He'll learn one of these days. But their trike was pretty cool. Definitely a touring model -- radio, touring pegs, nice seat, good trunk space, intercom for driver/passenger communication. I was impressed more with the Honda one than with the Harley one I'd seen.
