Took the ‘17 F3-S in for the front pulley replacement. Praying it comes back from dealership in as good of condition as it went in, but not confident ...

I installed "Blinking Controller Flasher Module for LED Brake Tail Stop Light" on my 2023 RT limited and then went on a 75 mile ride through north Alabama and south Tenn.

Finished installing my Elka stage 5 shocks (front & rear). I started the work last weekend and today was spent getting all of the body work back on. It was an easier job than I expected but still tedious, mainly due to removing all of the body work so you can get to the upper bolts on the shocks. The front shocks were the easiest to install. The rear has very, very little room at the top of the shock. I ended up losing the top nut somewhere and had to order some new ones. Lifting the bike really didn't help with rear shock other than getting it into position. I also found out that the plastic panel/shelf under the rear seat has a metal pan underneath it so removing it didn't provide any additional access to the top of the rear shock.

I ended up buying a bunch of extensions for my ratchet wrenches so more tools is always a good thing.

I took it out for a test ride and they're very stiff compared to the OEM shocks. These are set for my wife and I together so with just my weight I expected it to be stiffer. Now the fun part begins...adjusting the shocks for me as a solo rider...after a week or two of getting used to them as is.

(Off topic: But once we get snow here in Vt. and once the snowmobile trails open up, I'll be riding on my sled, which is like riding a Spyder. The sled has skis).

Well, I thought last week was going to be the end of my riding season. .... However, Mother Nature gave me a three-day reprieve and I was able to ride Thurs, Fri, and Sat. ..... But I put the Spyder to bed this morning & won't take it out till the Spring. I could ride in Temp's in the 50's but I don't enjoy it. Last year I had a Gas guzzler and rode well into Nov because I could get groceries in the RT, my Nissan Versa gets almost the same MPG's as the Spyder, so why bother freezing? .... I also got the Ski's down from the attic and although I'm slowing down, it ain't over yet! ..... Mike

Finally installed my new front tires (Vredstein 175/55) after finding a tire store that had a "0 degree" balancing cone for their machine. They definitely track better and steer easier. Also installed new EBC rotors and HH pads. Installed K&N air filter and front center LED light that was on sale. Ready to go--but now it was 24 degrees here in Arkansas this morning.

Hello MCole, we're really enjoying our ride as well!
We're hoping to get some more seat time this weekend as we're being blessed with some 60+F temps. Gotta take advantage of the opportunities while we have them!
We're both on our learners permits for now, so we're splitting the time and riding solo. But, we're signed up for the 3 wheel rider/safety course in March and looking forward to getting some two-up time next year.

    Safe riding!

It was 61-63 today in the ETN Mountains, so I went for a longer than usual ride. 125 miles of good riding. Came home and let it cool down for an hour, and did the 1st oil change (3,000 mi).
