Today I have assembled the armrests that I bought a few months ago. Since my wife still cannot came with me, I was not in a hurry.
Half an hour of work and that's it. When she test it I will adjust to her feelings.
I let my SPYDER sit in the garage today and will for 1 more week.... today it is 107 and
Sunday 110, Monday 106... and so on until this heat wave passes
I put 135 miles on it and it was super smoky because of all the fires here in California
if any more burns, we will not have to worry about fires for years because there will not
be anything left to burn
Changed the oil in both RT's yesterday, 2016 and 2019. Probably not going to get too many more miles this season, so I got it done while the weather was nice. By Nov 1st I'm sure there will have been some salt spread on the roads, and once that happens, it's over, til spring. Warm this week though.....
Weather in the 50’s and time for first service/inspection on my 2020 F3. Headed to Albuquerque on Tuesday, about a 250 mile round trip for service. Could just do the oil change myself, but want the first service and inspection (buds) done.
20210208_112104.jpg Installed fog lights and wheel trim just to get more light and doll it up a little...installed end links last week just to have some improvement in the turns..over all love the spyder and looking forward to the spring to hit the road...
New battery and brake pads. We're getting some needed rain to wash all the crud off the roads, now, if the sun would just shine and warm up a bit...It is still March, and it ALWAYS snows at least once in April in southern WI. Patience.....
I'll be taking off the vented tall windshield and replacing it with the stock one today.

Added a double USB plug that goes direct from battery so I can plug in anything that needs charging while bike is not running, such as a lunch break or to keep cell fully charged on trips, instead of charging it at night.
Walked by it twice again today...on the way to the truck to go to work, and again getting home from work. Mother Nature is pi$$ed off about something here lately. Finally nice weather coming up though.
The "Might as well, I'm in here already" thought process...
2010 Spyder RTS (neglected by previous owners) with 69880 on the clock.
So what did I do to my wife's Spyder today? Well, not in one day but in one sitting... It started with wanting to replace the plugs. Then the "Might as well, I'm in here already" thought process kicked in. It gets me every time!
Replace the Factory plugs (originals I am told) with DCPR8EIX NGK's
Replaced the fuel filter (Original I am told)
Replaced the 2 MAP vac lines (inspected all others)
Replaced the dim headlights with new LED ones. Big difference!
Replaced the fog (driving) lights with LED too
Coolant flush and fill and vacuumed out the bottom of the radiator
Removed about 35 feet of previous owners(s) messed up wiring crap
Removed all strip LED's
Installed 5 missing Torx #30 bolts
installed 6 missing push pin panel fasteners
installed new "blinker" led indicators for better visibility when their on
Installed a new LED alarm indicator and switch
Built a 1/8 phono to DIN adapter for the Bluetooth
Installed a Bluetooth adapter to stream music from the phones
It was a real "get to know your bike" session. I learned a lot.

Horsepower is an illusory mathematical equation; Torque is REAL, and is the source of all good things in the world.
The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem. Do you understand?
#1- Ordered Battery risers from Lamonster #2- researched cam corders for my RT. #3- ordered the little thing that holds up trunk lid #4- researched new Garmin GPS as I lost mine. #5- ordered replacement barge cords for my Garmin Car Express in case I can’t find my Zumo GPS Other than that had nothing to do all day accept play golf.
Plugged the battery tender in....gonna be a week or so before the weather straightens out again. Got everything I need to change the oil for its long winter nap too.
