Friction tape in toy hauler?
Im getting to old to fight gravity every time I back the spyder into the toy hauler. The linoleum floor already took a hit last year so I need some wisdom if Friction tape would help and what kind would be recommended. I think the wider the better.....6 Inches.......It rained in Erie, PA on Monday morning so it was tough getting her back in.....
Thanks everyone!

The non-slip safety tape has a lot of bite to it,have used it for a lot of things and that should help! If it's not enuff you may need to go to 1/4" expanded metal mesh.

Never thought about the mesh!
Thanks

Most big box DIY stores sell adhesive backed non-skid tape for stair treads in garages and shops and the like, it's often 6 to 8 inches wide and you only need one tread's worth to lay down the middle.
Amazon has a pack of 6 in https://www.amazon.com/Slip-Guard-No.../dp/B01HQXNBHW

We had time backing our RT into our 5th wheel toyhauler last weekend. Ended up having to get a run at it to get it up the ramp, even though the ramp is made of that non-skid sandpaper like stuff. The wheel would just spin about half way up the ramp. Thought about it for a while, turns out it is just physics. Backing up the ramp effectively unweights the rear wheel, so no gription. Went up the ramp forward, and it just walked up into the garage liked it wanted to be there with the weight shifted to the rear wheel. Problem is I had to rearrange the garage so the Spyder woud fit and tie down.

I have used the sticky-back traction strips for other applications and burned right through it. It may be OK for what you are doing. But, I would use the corrugated metal to insure good traction even when wet, muddy, or heaven forbid, snow. It's inexpensive, easy to install and durable..... Jim

We had a toyhauler that required me to back up the ramp to place it in place. That was a tight fit (as yours looks to be) and took some nerve when those front fenders entered inside it. I too used the same application of sand type tape on the floor for added traction

Amazon has non skid stair strips with adhesive to stick to floor and 80 grit that will work just fine. 6" X 20", 5 in a pack for $16.00.

This might be too aggressive, but it works great for snowmobiles and I don't slip at all driving my RT-L up the ramp.
