Just wondering, what does it actually have to do with jeep?
-
Well; it DID show a Wrangler doing some rock-crawling...

Before Chrysler took over, Jeep was 100% American and saw us through several wars.

cuzn,
Nice to see you back.
I didn't see that commercial during the Super Bowl. There's only one true Jeep, and it is the Wrangler (2 door of course). It is kind of strange that I get more waves from Wrangler owners, than I did from Spyder owners when I had my Spyder.

When I taught Marketing at the college, I used to assign watching the super bowl commercials. We would then have marketing discussions on best, worst, etc. etc. the following day. Some of the best commercials of the year were televised during the super bowl.

my point being the ad tries to sell us on being patriotic so go spend money and buy our product. i just don't like ads that do things like that.

safari van, toyota solara & subaru crosstrek and none were bought because of ads, the only influence for me is my wife

Will you be trading the solara for the supra, when it finally comes out? I did like that ad; but, the $50,000 starting point is just a little too much for me.
As far as the Jeep goes, and being patriotic, I purchased mine b/c I get Chrysler employee pricing; so, I guess I'm patriotic to those U.S. dollars.

This was the first time that I watch it and I must say it is pretty cool.
