Default Ryker Test Rides and What RPM at 60mph?

In Arizona Ride Now (who have most of the dealerships) say there won't be any test or demo ride days.

How come people back East are getting to ride them?

The most obvious metric for determining how suitable these are at highway speeds is to know the rpm at 60 or 75 mph.

Does anyone know rpm @ 60 mph or @ 75 mph?

    Thanks

The rpm will vary at any given mph, the more power that is needed the higher the rpm. For example going up hill will have a higher rpm than going down hill at the same mph. The cvt transmission works that way, even the weight of the rider can affect the rpm at a given mph.

The screen doesn't appear to have RPM and Speed on it at the same time so its hard to tell. You can bet the RPM at 60 moh is about 5,200 or so and the 1330 would is about 3,700 on mine So the 900cc is going to have a NICE higher speed Hum?

They do have speed and RPM at the same time as I recall. I was over 60 mph but can't remember the RPM. It appears at the bottom right of the screen when selected from the menu.

I'm quite familiar with CVTs of the type used by Can Am and the way they work can vary according to load and speed.

However, over a certain engine speed they tend to be locked up at a constant speed and a constant load, such as when cruising at 60 or 75 mph on a reasonably level piece of roadway.

    Thanks anyway.

I've seen anywhere from about 5,900 to 6,100 rpm at 60 mph with myself and my wife on the 600. Both of us with gear on are probably in the 300lb range. Haven't ridden alone, yet.

    Buy one!

That's how I got my 'Test Ride' anyway...

Mine runs about 5,500 cruising at 60 mph. But it varies depending on load so you can't nail it down like with a geared transmission.
