    Default Time For Sparkplug Change

At 36,000 a bit past due, but finally had time to do this. Since I will be gone for the rest of November I also did the oil and filter change and will add fuel stabilizer for winter.

A lot of fun (not), but glad it's done.

    Default Well done....

Knew it was a pain now I see.... But then the twin had that problem with the front plug. I eliminated the Airbox and problem solved. Well your all set for a while longer...

Not sure if this is any harder then that on the RT as you have to remove a lot for that also, but as you said I am good for awhile now.

When it came time for new plugs, I found it was easier to let BRP replace the whole engine assembly......

I know the iridium plugs are good for better than 50,000 miles but thought the engine was good for a bit more....

I just had mine done on the 2015 RTL 1330 at 33,000 miles. Dealer said plugs still looked very good, so I wonder how many miles you could acutely get out of them, maybe 50,000?

    Default YUP

YUP, BEEN THERE, DONE THAT.... NOT FUN....
but i am happy i did it... at age 70, it took me two 5 hour days to complete the task.... and with 44,480 miles of smiles on the original plugs, i found them to be in excellent condition... enough to last well over 100,000 miles i believe (see pic #4)...
note: i STRONGLY recommend that you change your fuel filter at the same time (pic #5)...

Something I should have done, but it's all together now. Then next time I have the top right panel off I will do that.
