 Hitch and wiring
I have a Show Chrome hitch and complete wiring harness . It was on a 2015 RTL for a while before I built a frame mounted hitch. It's ready to bolt on and probably fits othr models but you would have to check that out. 150.00 plus shipping. PayPal works.

I'd be interested in any pictures of your new hitch, how it's working and what you used for mounting points. I may be agreeing with you that BRP's design hanging off the end of the swingarm is a poor design. I've been contemplating doing the same thing this winter.

I'll look and see if I saved any evidence. I took it off when I sold the Spyder just because I don't trust the world and I don't have any product liability ins. It did work extremely well and the trailer was much smoother than the stock hitch ever thought of being.I gave it away as scrap. I'll send you a PM if I find something.

I've not posted pictures here so l will see what I can do. It doesn't have a connector so it can be set up for whatever you need. I had a 6 wire Bushtec connector but I transferred it to the wing.
