streaking inside the gauge cluster
I have some streaking residue on the inside of the gauge cluster. My warranty is up and the local technician said we could file a claim with BRP and BEG to have them approve replacement. If it is replaced, the odometer will be zero.d out and I will have to file the info with the DMV. he said its very easy to remove the cluster, open it up, wipe off the residue, apply anti fog and reinstall. has anyone doe thais out there?

There's a YouTube video in this thread for doing exactly that.

Why would you need to get a new gauge because the lens is dirty. Just clean or replace the lens. The lens is only $20.

It is a common issue with all brp clusters. I had this with seadoos and spyders. Easy to clean just follow instructions on the youtube video posted.

I did mine two weeks ago and it took me about 30 minutes from start to finish.
