    Default Backrest

I've seen install vids from Lamonster, sling mods, and spyder accessories. Looks simple enough.

Can an someone address the differences in the driver's backrest offered from Can-Am?

Did id you install it yourself?

    how was the install experience?

I have a demo ride scheduled for early next week that wil tell me what direction I need to take.

Interested in in hearing your thoughts so feel free to speak up.

Thanks in advance, and ride safe.

camardelle, I purchased a back rest from Lamonster, install was a snap and comfort and support was exactly what I was looking for. A lot less money than Can am.

I have lamonsters ultimate driver backrest. It is the best I've ever had. Very comfortable and easy to adjust. Was a quick easy install. Very solid unit.

BRP is WAY too proud of their backrest. Whichever way you decide, I suggest you get one that is adjustable. My bike came with a non-adjustable BRP backrest and it seemed to push me too far forward. That was corrected by buying an adjustable bracket (that also cost way too much).

Don't discount the smoothspyder backrest. I have one and like it. My wife likes it when she comes along. Its well built and works great for me!
