The fuse covers in the frunk are really meant to keep water out of the frunk and have a stick on gasket. These are not the actual fuse box covers, just the "access" covers for the fuse boxes. Anyway, we rode home from Spyders in the Ozarks on Friday in a monsoon. Rained so hard in some spots that we were down to 30 miles per hour on the freeway … just so much water on the road. Very thankful for three brand new tires … they performed masterfully well. We also rode through one very deep puddle (like almost to the floor boards) ….so I was a bit worried about the frunk. Checked it and there was a little moisture, but it had clearly come in from the nose and when I pushed on the seal it did "give" just a tad. Decided to check the fuse boxes, so pulled the frunk access covers and each had about 2 tablespoons of water in them. The actual fuse boxes were dry, though the bottoms of their covers were damp from the water in the access covers.

The gaskets on the access covers are in horrible shape -- and the BRP site won't go to the Spyder page right now (too many redirects). Does anyone have a part number for just the gasket? Is it even sold separately from the access cover?

Thanks ….. Ann
